Date: Fri, 06/15/2012 - 12:41
Again more than 16,000 trade visitors and 1,600 congress delegates
With 440 exhibitors, 16,000 trade visitors and 1,600 congress delegates, ANGA Cable Show has managed to further enhance its leading role in Europe. The share of foreign visitors has increased from 43 percent in the previous year to now 50 percent.
“The key topics Smart TV, hybrid networks, Video on Demand, and Connected Home have spurred visitor quality and internationality. The rapid increase in the share of international visitors has exceeded our expectations by far. At the same time, ANGA Cable Show has given important impetus to new technologies and fields of business over the past three days. We have lived up to our announcement: ANGA Cable Show is and will remain to be Europe’s leading business platform for broadband operators and content providers of all categories,” stressed Thomas Braun, President of the hosting Association of German Cable Operators (ANGA).
Herbert Strobel, Chairman of the Satellite & Cable Trade Association within the German Association of the Electrical and Electronics Industry ZVEI, is also very satisfied with the show: “We’re impressed by the international character of the show and the encouragement for investments it conveys. ANGA Cable remains the highlight of the year for our manufacturers and systems providers, in national as well as in international competition.”
ANGA Cable 2013 will take place from 4 to 6 June 2013, again in Cologne (Germany).
