CeBIT partner for CIOcolloquium and international CIO networks
The "House of CIOs - IT Applied" at CeBIT 2010, 2 to 6 March, will be an international summit meeting involving senior managers from the ICT user and supplier industries.
"House of CIOs - IT Applied", which takes place in Hall 4, will be hosted by CIOcolloquium, the central network of German CIOs. Organized by CeBIT and FINAKI, the event will offer German CIO networks and partner networks from up to ten countries the opportunity to attend specialist events, talks and workshops.
The partnership between CeBIT, the digital industry's most important trade show, and FINAKI will enable several hundred German and international IT executives from a wide array of industries to use CeBIT in Hannover in order to exchange know-how with their colleagues at the highest level. FINAKI organizes management congresses that promote a dialogue between user and supplier companies, scientists and the political community.
As Ernst Raue, Member of the Board of Deutsche Messe AG, confirms: "This partnership will make CeBIT the most prestigious platform involving ICT firms and users. It enables us to synchronize supply and demand at senior management level in a highly professional and international setting."
Chairman of the CIOcolloqium and CIO of Deutsche Lufthansa AG, Dr. Thomas Endres, states: "CeBIT is the world's best platform on which to discuss the constantly changing and ever more complex specifications for ICT solutions and their corporate applications. CeBIT is a meeting place for suppliers and users from around the world. The 'House of CIOs - IT Applied' will give users visibility and a presence at CeBIT for the first time. Together with our international colleagues, we are putting together an attractive program to ensure that users enjoy an effective and productive visit to CeBIT."
As international networks have also confirmed their attendance, the event promises to initiate and establish ongoing close collaboration within the IT community.
About the CIOcolloquium
As the platform for major IT user companies, the CIOcolloquium will bring together CIOs from top German corporations - including Allianz AG, AUDI AG, Daimler AG, Deutsche Lufthansa AG, Deutsche Post AG, Deutsche Bank AG, E.ON AG - and offer its participants a new dimension in networking.
By CIOs for CIOs: unrivalled opportunities for dialogue at the senior management level.
The CIOcolloquium is Germany's leading CIO network. As an independent network it gives CIOs the opportunity for transparent, impartial and in-depth discussion. Its shared agenda is developed exclusively by its participants, which is why the CIOs taking part in the CIOcolloquium will address key issues relating to their working environment.
The participants at the CIOcolloquium represent an IT budget of 35 billion euros. Partner networks are the CIO Circle in Germany and, internationally, the EuroCIO with its seven affiliated CIO country networks.
FINAKI Deutschland GmbH is the lead partner in the management of the CIOcolloquium. It organizes congresses focusing on current topics of critical importance to companies, thereby facilitating the exchange of know-how and the development of solutions. FINAKI acts as an intermediary between
its own networks, leading suppliers in the ICT industry and protagonists from the worlds of politics and science.
