EXPO MOBILITY CHINA / DAV 2009 will be held following the issuing of 3G licenses

China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) officially awarded 3G licenses to the three mobile operators of China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom respectively, symbolizing that China's Mobile Communication Industry has entered into a new era and lead to billions of dollars being invested in building new networks.
Following the announcement on the construction of 3G networks, which entails a multi-billion dollar investment boom, EXPO MOBILITY CHINA / DAV, an exhibition and conference with activities specialized in mobile service, mobile terminal, mobile communication products, mobile applications and application services, as well as accessories parts and components, will be held on June 25-27, 2009, in Beijing Agricultural Exhibition Center (New Hall).
China currently has over 620 million mobile phone subscribers. It is estimated the number of 3G users will exceed 150 million by the end of 2010 and the total market for 3G infrastructure upgrades is expected to be at USD$41 billion, of which USD$29 billion direct investments will be committed by the three carriers in 2009.
