Telkom, Telkomsel and Vodafone New Zealand to Speak at World Telecom Summit 2011
The organizer of World Telecom Summit 2011 announced new speakers for the summit with PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TELKOM), PT Telekomunikasi Selular (TELKOMSEL) and Vodafone New Zealand participating in this year’s summit. Natal Iman Ginting, Head of Marketing Wholesale and AVP Marketing and Business Solution Wholesale at Telkom will be speaking on Customer Experience Management (CEM), Siswanto Dasijo, VP of Technology Master Plan Sub Directorate at Telkomsel will share Telkomsel’s experience with LTE implementation, and David L. Kreider, General Counsel of Vodafone New Zealand will be presenting his legal perspective on telecommunications industry international disputes.
Natal Iman Ginting is Telkom’s Head of Marketing Wholesale and AVP Marketing and Business Solution Wholesale. He has considerable experience and expertise in marketing strategy and business development for both enterprise and wholesale telecommunications market in Indonesia. Natal’s primary duty as Head of Marketing Wholesale is to prime and monitor the wholesale marketing and business solution for Telkom. In addition, he prepares and implements marketing for domestic and international interconnection, and network and data communications.
Natal holds an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Birmingham and graduated from the Universitas Sumatera Utara with a degree in Industrial Engineering.
Siswanto Dasijo joined Telkomsel in 1992 and has held the position of Vice President for Technology Master Plan Sub Directorate since 2009. He previously assumed several leadership roles in Telkomsel, including Senior Manager of Infrastructure Development and Assistant Vice President of Infrastructure Integration. In his current post, Siswanto is responsible for the strengthening of network transformation and infrastructure strategy and keeping the long, mid and short term development of Master Plan aligned with Telkomsel’s Strategic Business Plan.
Siswanto graduated from the University of Indonesia with a degree in Computer Science.
David L. Kreider is the General Counsel and an Executive of Vodafone New Zealand. With more than 30 years of experience as a lawyer, David was the General Counsel of China Mobile (Hong Kong) from 1999 to 2005, prior to joining Vodafone. As a Chartered Arbitrator specialising in managing business disputes, David guides Vodafone through arbitration and court proceedings across the Asia Pacific region. In addition to his duties with Vodafone, David regularly sits as an arbitrator in technology and China-related cases, including several where amounts in dispute have exceeded US$100 million.
David is a Director of the American Arbitration Association and the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration. He holds a Doctorate in Law from the University of Miami, a Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and attended Tunghai University in Taiwan.
World Telecom Summit 2011 aims to address current telecommunications needs regarding 4G/LTE, CEM and Cloud Computing. Topics lined up for the summit agenda include LTE ecosystem implementation, network efficiency optimization, cost effectiveness, effective proposition management, social media impact on organizations, machine-to-machine utilization for CEM, subscriber database usage maximization, cloud revenue streams, and cloud security management.
